Medium weight, high performance chef's skillet
This pan is most suited for gas stoves that have a large burner.
Although, it can be used very successfully on electric ceramic glass top and coil type stoves with a large burner.

I purchased the 12" fry pan because of the wieght, as I have RA, and because of the non-toxic coating, and last but not least because it is made in the USA!
I have used it for 3 months or so, and I love it! Everything from bacon & eggs to sauted quail. It is very stick resistant, I have had to soak with a small amount of water for a very short time once or twice, no hassle at all. It cooks very evenly as long as you start at a low temp and warm the pan up completely, no hassle... and that is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars... great buy for the money... look forward to many years of use, and I will purchase more pans as needed, I recommend this pan!

I was looking for a Made in the USA, environmentally friendly, teflon free pan. Here it is. I am so pleased with this pan, it works better than advertised, heats up evenly, easy to control, easy to clean. Highly recommend. All my future pans will be man pans.

First time low heat cooking eggs alway cooks the yolk. Now pan is broken in it cooks the eggs right. Never burn any food. I got the ten inch sauté pan. it cooks the some way at first then it was great to use. Want to try the 12 inch I got good at it too.
ManPans: Good to see that you using low heat to fry. Many customers do not read the instructions that low heat is the key to success with ManPans. Also, keep your pan clean and free of buildup as a smooth surface is what provides for the easy release. And always use a metal spatula when frying to under foods.

Even with 2 tablespoons of butter a fried egg sticks and the yoke breaks trying to remove it , over easy.
ManPans: Most sticking issues come from too high of heat setting. To fry eggs, select a setting of low and preheat your pan for a full 5 minutes. Do not try to preheat with a high setting. When you add butter it should just slightly sizzle, if at all. Let your eggs slowly cook and when ready to turn, be sure to use a metal spatula to aggressively get under eggs. Also make sure the surface of your pan stays clean. Deep cleaning with Barkeepers Friend works well.

This pan is exactly what I wanted. It is lightweight as I have arthritis in my hands. Yet it is large enough to prepare all sorts of menu items! Clean up is a breeze!

Works well and food does not stick to the pan. I prefer buying American made products to support our economy rather than a foreign one.

I have two frypans the 10" and the 12" and like them both very much. Light and well made, "AMERICAN STYLE".have used them both and the small roaster for awhile now and just love them.So light and very durable. I really like the cloth cover that you get for each pan it is a nice touch. As my needs change I know I will buy from MAN PANS again and I have already Told many of my friends about how good they are. I also like that I can send them in to be recoated if the need ever arises. Thanks for such a GOOD AMERICAN MADE product. They are hard to find anymore.

Same as the review of the 10" pan that I purchased... This pan seems to work pretty much as advertised. High quality and a pleasure to use. Cooks very nicely with a very easy clean-up. I take all reviews, consumer and otherwise, with a grain of salt as being somewhat emotional in nature and plainly unscientific. (You should do the same, even with this review.) However, having stated this, it 'seems' as if meats turn out more tender and juicy. Optimum cooking temperature seems to be reached more quickly and sustained more easily due to better heat transference to the food. You'll need to "learn" these pans. Be careful in thinking that you can actually turn the temperature down by 40% to 50% as stated, at least on an electric cook-top as I'm using. I'd imagine a gas cook-top would yield a different experience, perhaps closer to that claimed in the video on the website. I'm happy to purchase something actually manufactured in the USA. Choices of US made cookware are very few. I'd love to see ManPans manufacture a line of high quality cook utensils for use with their cookware. Highly recommended! You have nothing to lose with the 30 day guarantee.
