I just tossed my pan after less than two years because the nonstick coating was gone. I gifted a pan to my mother and she tossed hers already, also for the same reasons. I babied the pan by handwashing and following all directions, but food was constantly sticking to the bottom of the pan making it difficult to cook and clean up.
ManPans: Sorry to hear of your disappointment. Your pan should be lasting for at least 5 years without detriment to the coating. It is likely that your pan was not cleaned thoroughly and food buildup collected on the surface. The coating relies on having a very smooth surface. Deep cleaning can be done with Barkeepers Friend and or dry salt polishing. Also, the use of some spray oils can lead to a buildup of residue and thus are not recommended for use.
Another issue for some is that you need to cook on lower temperatures than other pans to prevent sticking and achieve the browning you might be looking for. There are other techniques of cooking as well that are similar to cooking on stainless steel.

I have pretty much a full set of Man Pan pots & pans and I've used them for almost a full year now and I've got to say they are not what I expected. I don't know why they would make pots & pans with such a thin bottom. I've tried reducing the heat as suggested and everything still sticks and scorches. reminds me of the old stainless steel Revere ware my mom used to have that did the same thing. very difficult to clean. using the recommended bar keepers helps a little, but scorch stains still remain. I purposely searched out Made In America and I am very disappointed.
ManPans: We are sorry to hear of your problems. Although you have cooked with these pans for a year and I am sure you have experimented, my thought about scorching is that you are still cooking too hot. Similar indeed, to the stainless steel cookware, cooking techniques are the key to success. Will foods still stick at lower temps? Possibly, depending on the ingredients. If you are scorching foods, there is too much heat for too long of time for those ingredients and a heavier pan will still scorch.
Clean your pans thoroughly with Bar Keepers Friend to remove any buildup. Spread a little oil inside, wiping with a paper towel. Let your pan heat up before adding oils or foods and cook at a lower temperature than you have been. We would love to hear what foods you are cooking and will pass that on to our test kitchen for review.

It's light weight and very easy to handle in that the handle doens't hold the heat. Cooks just right.

We're delighted with this pan--it's surprisingly light so my wife, who loves to cook but is unable to hold heavy things, can handle it well.
We look forward to ordering more ManPans cookware in the future.

This is the best saucepan I have ever used! It heats quickly on a low-heat setting. It conducts heat efficiently, nothing sticks to the surface, and cleans up with no effort at all. I love this pan and use it every day. It is light weight yet very sturdy which is a blessing for my arthritic hands. I have raved about this pan to a lot of friends.

My search for good Eco-friendly cookware led me to the Man Pan website. Though leery I decided to order both the 2 and 3 qt saucepans. I am happy to say the saucepans perform extremely well. They are light and very easy to clean. I have yet to have anything actually stick to them though they are not non-stick cookware. I plan to buy more and would not hesitate to recommend a friend to the cookware. In fact I already have been recommending people.
ManPans: Thanks for you comments! Be sure to keep the surface of your pans clean as this, along with low heat settings, is what provides a stick-resistant cooking surface. We like to use Barkeepers Friend for deep cleaning.

This is our third purchase from ManPans. Great pot, good price and made in the USA. What more could you ask for
