This lid is absoultly the best. It holds heat in and at the same time lets excess steam out for better cooking. There is no giggling of the lid.

Nothing to get excited about here folks, it's just a lid. Not great, not bad, but a lid. A little underwhelming as compared to the pans themselves. In fact, I'll challenge ManPans on the pedigree here... I'm GUESSING that it's assembled from off the shelf parts or purchased complete from another manufacturer and hopefully it's actually made in the USA. The reason I say this is that I have one EXACTLY like it which was made by or for Wearever. The lid I purchased from Manpans fits the ManPan, but it doesn't seem as if it was designed specifically for this pan. This lid seals okay, but pressing on one edge of the lid when it's seated on the pan will cause the opposite side of the lid to rise. (There is no damage and the lid is not out of round.) This is not a custom fit lid that snugly 'nests' or 'seats' in place and doesn't budge, but an adequate adaptation. With this in mind, my advice is that pan buyers wait until they get their new pans and try their old lids before purchasing new lids. Sorry ManPans, I can only give an average rating here.
ManPans: I can see your point about the fit because likely you purchased a Fry Pan Skillet which were not engineered to have a tight fitting lid. They work together, but if you need a pan with a lid, the Saute Pan is designed to have a lid fit snugly and is the best choice.
